Avery's Kidergarten Field Trip!
I went to help with Avery's field trip! It was her first kindergarten field trip, and her first time riding the school bus.....BIG DAY! We went to the Bicentennial park in Provo. The kids had an activity sheet to fill out doing different activities. We learned about trees and leaves, looked through magnifying glasses at pond life, used binoculars to look for other wildlife, and just enjoyed being outside on a beautiful fall day! It was a fun field trip, and Avery had a great time with her friends!

Jaret: Student Council
Jaret wanted to run for Mapleton Jr. High School Student Council. He had to write an essay and make a poster. Then they had the student body vote. He is now the Vice President at MJHS! We are so proud of him and his willingness to serve his school! He has had so much fun planning school activities and being a part of student government!

Great Grandpa Clayson's Funeral
On September 8, 2010, we lost a wonderful man! Grandpa Vern Clayson passed away peacefully. He was such an amazing man! What a great example to me and my children. He did so much for his country and his family! We love you so much Grandpa, and we know you are in a better place, and can't wait to see you again someday!
The funeral was beautiful and depicted what a wonderful person Grandpa was! He was buried in the Payson Cemetary.
