Jaret's 13th Birthday!.....HE'S A TEENAGER NOW!

JARET IS A BIG TEENAGER!!!

On his birthday, he had two basketball games that morning. We took donughts to the game, and his team sang Happy Birthday to him! Later that night, he chose to go to Brick Oven for his dinner! Then we came home for presents, icecream, and cake!

Jaret is such a GREAT kid! We are so lucky to have him in our family!! He is so layed back and easy going. He is very good with the little kids and is so helpful to his mom and dad! We love you Jaret! Hope you have a great birthday!

Jaret's 13th Birthday Party!

For Jaret's 13th Birthday, he wanted to have a "Boy / Girl Party"! So, since he is a BIG teenager now, we thought it would be fun! He invited about 15 kids to come over and hang out, play pool, eat, and then we took them to Power Tumbling! They played hard, jumped, flipped, ran, and had tons of fun! Then, they all came back over to our house for rootbeer floats!

Jaret: Student Council

Jaret wanted to run for Mapleton Jr. High School Student Council. He had to write an essay and make a poster. Then they had the student body vote. He is now the Vice President at MJHS! We are so proud of him and his willingness to serve his school! He has had so much fun planning school activities and being a part of student government!

Here is the poster that Jaret made! It was hanging in the hall for 2 weeks so the students could decide who to vote for!

This is his Student government shirt. He wears it to school activities and to his leadership meetings. The theme is "Raising the Bar"!

We are so proud of you Jaret! You are such a good example of what a leader should be! Keep up the good work!

Labor Day Baseball Tournement

Jaret tried out and got on the Rockies team for fall baseball! They will play double headers every Monday night. They played in a Labor Day tournement, in Spanish Fork. They did so well winning 5 out of their 6 games and eventually taking 1st place in the tournament! It was so exciting because this is a brand new team, and they played so well together! Good job Rockies! This will be a great year for fall ball!
