At Mapleton Elementary School, the Kindergarten classes have a Kindy 500! This is where all the kids make a car out of a cardboard box at home and then parade around the school! They make several "stops" around the "USA" and learn about historical people and events! (I got to be the Statue of Liberty in NYC and teach the kids about how Lady Liberty came to be)! Avery picked out the color of her car....and her racing stripe tape! Her and her dad made her car together and she was so proud of how it turned out!!

Jaret: Student Council
Jaret wanted to run for Mapleton Jr. High School Student Council. He had to write an essay and make a poster. Then they had the student body vote. He is now the Vice President at MJHS! We are so proud of him and his willingness to serve his school! He has had so much fun planning school activities and being a part of student government!

Jaret's 6th grade Graduation!
Jaret graduated from Mapleton Elementary School. The entire 6th grade did a program for the parents, in their graduation caps. Then they walked across the stage and got their diplomas. Mom was emotional and Jaret just can't wait to go to Jr. High!
